Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and explain procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology. Utilize dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices. Ensure aseptic techniques and infection control protocols are strictly followed during all procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and document treatment details in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures to provide the highest quality care. Educate patients on oral health maintenance and preventive care strategies. Requirements Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a General Dentist. Proficiency with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and education. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
