Duties As a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays) Maintaining accurate medical documentation for patient records Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic Communicating effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and oral hygiene instructions Utilizing dental software such as Eaglesoft for record keeping and scheduling Supporting pediatric dentistry practices when necessary Operating 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Knowledge of dental terminology is essential Experience with dental coding is necessary Familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to dental practices Previous experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, including roles such as dental receptionist or assistant in pediatric dentistry Proficiency in using Dentrix and Dexis or similar dental practice management software is advantageous Join our team to make a meaningful impact on our patients' oral health while advancing your career in the dental field!
