Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Georgetown, TX
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist across a variety of clinical procedures. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas in compliance with infection control standards Take, process, and maintain high-quality dental X-rays while adhering to all safety guidelines Accurately document patient information and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with patient flow, appointment scheduling, and treatment coordination Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Take vital signs and assist with dental imaging as needed Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care for pediatric patients Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations Qualifications & Skills 2â3 years of experience as a chairside Dental Assistant Proficiency with OpenDental software Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols Experience in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Ability to maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Knowledge of aseptic techniques and clinical best practices Experience with 3D dental scanners is a plus Knowledge of medical coding is an advantage Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
