Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic, smile-driven team. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including chairside assisting, medical imaging, and vital signs measurement Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained Manage patient records accurately using EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and medical documentation standards Take and develop X-rays while adhering to safety protocols for radiation exposure Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization and handling of dental instruments Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures when necessary, demonstrating patience and effective communication with young patients Operate advanced equipment including 3D scanners and other dental technology for comprehensive diagnostics Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting, preferably with expertise in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for medical documentation and records management Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Experience with X-ray procedures and medical imaging equipment Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards for accurate recordkeeping Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques Prior experience working with pediatric patients is a plus Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental care and patient management Join our team to make a difference in patients’ smiles while advancing your career in a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in dental health services.
