Position Overview: We are seeking a cheerful, organized, and detail-oriented Checkout Receptionist to join our front office team. This role is essential in creating a smooth and positive experience as patients complete their visits. Responsibilities Greet patients and parents at checkout with warmth and professionalism Review treatment completed and explain charges clearly Collect payments (cash, credit, financing, etc.) Verify and process insurance information Schedule follow-up and recall appointments Answer phones and assist with front desk duties as needed Maintain accurate patient records and notes Help keep the front office organized and welcoming Experience Previous clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred, especially within pediatric or healthcare settings. Proven proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix, . Experience with insurance verification processes Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient service with excellent communication skills in a bilingual environment is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical billing procedures is essential. Adequate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (10 key), and familiarity with multi-line phone systems. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks.
