Job Responsibilities for Dental Assistant - Attend to the patient and parentsâ individual concerns and expectations - Comfort child as needed - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist - complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures of patients in an efficient and timely manner - Record patient charting and all of the dentistâs notes in the digital patient chart as directed by the dentist - Take and understand basic pediatric vital signs - Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist - Patient management during sedation appointments - Ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturerâs guidelines Requirements - Experience as a patient coordinator or dental assistant in a pediatric dental setting - High School Diploma - Has reliable transportation - Flexible schedule If this sounds like you, please send in your resume indicating your position of interest with your salary requirements.
