Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Wheaton, MD
We are excited to welcome a motivated and friendly Dental Assistant to our growing dental practice. This position is perfect for someone who is new to the dental field or looking to build hands-on experience in a supportive environment. We provide training and mentorship from experienced team members! The majority of our patients are Spanish-speaking, so Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Help prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments and supplies Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures, with training provided Take dental X-rays while following safety guidelines (training available if needed) Learn to document medical history and treatment notes in our electronic system (Eaglesoft) Welcome patients, help them feel comfortable, and provide basic oral health instructions Follow infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment This role offers a great opportunity to learn, grow, and develop a long-term career in dentistry.
