Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control, and support the delivery of high-quality dental care across general dentistry and specialized fields such as , prosthodontics, and endodontics. This role requires proficiency in dental software systems, medical documentation, and a strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy. The Registered Dental Assistant will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining adherence to all safety and HIPAA regulations. Friday & Saturday ( We pay $35 incentive pay for Saturdays) Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and working in Steri. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools. Record vital signs, medical history, and other patient information accurate in Dentrix while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients as a dental receptionist would, scheduling appointments, and updating medical records. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health practices using appropriate dental terminology. Support the dental team with general assisting duties including chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and providing pediatric-specific care when needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to OSHA standards. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure. Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry. Knowledge of Dentrix & Cerec crowns Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control procedures. Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively; experience with 3D scanners is a plus. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients clearly about procedures and oral health. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
