About Us Best Dental Spa is a modern, growing dental practice in Hoffman Estates, IL, led by prosthodontist Dr. Dhara Patel . We provide comprehensive general, cosmetic, implant, and specialty services in a friendly, patient-focused environment. As our orthodontic patient base continues to grow, we are looking for a visiting orthodontist to join our team on a recurring basis. Position Overview We are seeking a Visiting Orthodontist to provide orthodontic care at our office once a month for 4â8 hours , depending on patient volume. This role is ideal for someone who wants to add a consistent monthly orthodontic day without additional overhead. Schedule: 1 day per month (Tuesday or mutually agreed weekday) Hours: 4â8 hours per visit Compensation: 50% of collections Status: 1099 Independent Contractor (or W2 if preferred) Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive orthodontic evaluations and develop treatment plans Provide and manage braces and/or clear aligner therapy Manage active orthodontic cases and ensure high-quality clinical outcomes Review records (X-rays, scans, photos) and maintain accurate charting Educate patients and parents about treatment options and progress Coordinate interdisciplinary care with our prosthodontic and general dentistry team Follow all practice protocols, OSHA, and infection control standards Qualifications DDS/DMD degree and completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency Illinois dental license and orthodontic specialty license in good standing Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred CPR/BLS and DEA certification Experience with both braces and clear aligner therapy Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach What We Offer 50% of collections compensation model Growing orthodontic patient base with strong internal referrals Fully trained front desk and clinical team to assist with records, scheduling, and follow-up Modern dental facility with digital technology Flexible monthly schedule with the potential to expand hours Supportive, professional work environment Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per day Work Location: In person
