Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Bradford, VT
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health. Responsibilities - Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain and update patient dental records - Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Follow infection control protocols - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow Qualifications - Valid Dental Hygienist license - Proficiency in medical imaging and dental terminology - Experience with medical documentation and four-handed dentistry - Knowledge of documentation review, medical coding, and Dentrix software is a plus - Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, medical records, and pediatric patients Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $48.00 - $51.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred) Dental License (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Bradford, VT 05033 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Bradford, VT 05033: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
