Well established office in Trussville area looking for full time dental hygienist. Looking for experience and the right personality ready to start immediately. Please send resume to dentalresume467@gmail.com Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral health assessments and screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants - Assist the dentist during procedures as needed - Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment Skills: - Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices - Proficiency in using dental software systems, such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, etc. - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients - Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and treatment planning - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Strong manual dexterity for performing precise dental procedures - Knowledge of medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims Please note that additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the dental practice.
