Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting the dental team with chairside procedures, patient management, and clinical operations. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and proficiency with various dental software systems. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. We are hiring for two postions , Dental Assistant and EFDA. EXPERIENCED and XRAY Certification a MUST! Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, while adhering to safety standards. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Monitor vital signs and medical imaging as needed for patient assessments. Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health best practices. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation or medical coding for billing purposes. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations including HIPAA and infection control protocols. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental assisting procedures. Proficiency in dental software systems such as Softdent, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing electronic health records. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and effectively; certification preferred. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Strong understanding of aseptic technique, medical imaging, and general dentistry procedures including prosthodontics and endodontics. Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and coordinate with team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
