Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery, in a patient-centered environment. The position requires a licensed dentist with experience in various dental procedures and a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control protocols. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to inform treatment decisions. Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Ensure compliance with all medical and dental regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties as needed. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is required. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Prior experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery is advantageous. Knowledge of dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging is desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and medical documentation standards. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient care with professionalism and compassion.
