Deliver a wide range of pediatric dental treatments including dental cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics as needed. Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct oral surgery procedures with aseptic technique and ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed. Engage in four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency during procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care. Educate young patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment plans to promote lifelong dental health. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate medical imaging, and proper management of medical records. Skills Proven experience in pediatric dentistry with a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, and prosthodontics within a pediatric setting. Knowledge of medical terminology related to pediatrics and general dentistry procedures. Ability to assess patient needs effectively and deliver compassionate patient care tailored to childrenâs unique requirements. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation best practices.
