Dental Assistant/Receptionist - The Head pain Center - Roseville, CA

Job Overview This is a position for a certified Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant in a specialty private practice located in Roseville, CA. This position requires someone with at least three years’ experience. Preferably in a specialty practice such as Orofacial Pain, orthodontics, or Maxillofacial Surgery etc. The assistant will be responsible for duties such as but not limited to; taking diagnostic X-rays, sterilizing instruments, setting up procedures, managing inventory, patient education, maintain equipment, capturing and processing intraoral scans, and fabricating oral appliances. This position will also include some front office work as needed such as phone calls, scheduling, collecting payments, patient care coordination, and inputting insurance information. Compensation is Commensurate to qualifications, skill level, and experience. A more detailed breakdown of responsibilities is as follows: Setting up procedures, ensuring the required amount of all necessary materials are set out. This includes checking all expiration dates on materials and medications to ensure they are suitable for use and that the instruments have been properly prepared and sterilized. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information, including vital signs, current medications, and medical history. Take dental x-rays and ensure proper radiation safety protocols are followed. Educate patients on procedure processes and post-treatment care. Operate intraoral scanner to capture accurate 3D impression for appliance fabrication. Safe and efficient operations of the 3D printer, wash, and curing machines to facilitate the fabrication of custom oral appliances. Efficient and appropriate appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients. Ensure the practice is clean, organized, and compliant with all infection control and OSHA regulations. Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional patient care. Required Certifications and Skills Minimum of 3-years’ experience as a certified DA or RDA Dental Radiation Safety Certification (ability to perform X-ray imaging accurately and safely) Infection Control Certification (proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control procedures) CPR Certification CA Dental Practice Act Willingness and ability to learn a new specialty Experience using intraoral scanner (trios intraoral scanner preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly and compassionate personality Inventory Management Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills Team Player Preferred Skills Experience fabricating oral appliances Experience in both front and back office Fluent Spanish Speaker Join our team to make a positive impact on our patients' quality of life!
