Are you an experienced Registered Dental Assistant looking for a great new office? We are looking for a fun, smart, hard-working Registered Dental Assistant. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic technique, and anatomy knowledge. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and have a keen interest in general dentistry, we encourage you to apply for this position. We work 8-5 Monday â Thursday and 8-1 on Fridays. We never work evenings or weekends. Our office has been around for over 50 years and we have a wonderful team that needs one more awesome person. That could be you! The ideal candidate would be a current RDA in the state of Michigan or an experienced assistant certified in radiology who can work full time. Responsibilities - Assist the dentist with patient care, including vital signs, preparing patients for treatment, and providing post-operative instructions. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our dental management system. - Perform various clinical tasks, such as taking radiographs, and assisting with restorative, prosthodontic, and general dentistry procedures. - Utilize your knowledge of anatomy to assist with surgical procedures and patient positioning. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic technique to ensure the highest level of patient safety and comfort. - Demonstrate excellent communication skills, providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families. - Collaborate with other dental team members to ensure seamless patient care. Skills - Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge. - Proficiency in using dental management systems. Eaglesoft is a plus. - Ability to assist with various dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, and radiography. - Familiarity with vital signs and the ability to take them accurately. - Knowledge of aseptic technique and the importance of maintaining a clean and organized work environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
