Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools. Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as general dentistry treatments, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Document all medical records meticulously, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical documentation for legal compliance. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to ensure efficient patient care delivery. Stay current with the latest advancements in dental technology and procedures by utilizing systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for electronic health records management. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong understanding of general dentistry procedures. Demonstrated proficiency in dental imaging techniques, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Prior experience using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
