We are a privately owned, general dental office and are are immediately seeking a highly competent dental assistant who desires to provide excellence in dental care to our patients, and primary support for the assisted hygiene role/column in our busy office. The candidate should be well-organized, able to anticipate and fully support our hygienists chair-side and with great attention to detail. Experience with digital x-rays and assisted hygiene is preferred, and a coronal polish certificate is required. Responsibilities Warmly welcome customers to our dental office Competent and efficient with taking full set of x-rays [FMX, bitewings, PAs, & Panos] Escort patients to and from treatment, and offer office tours on occasion while always ensuring optimal patient comfort Efficiently assist the hygiene department with prophylactic care, SRPs, etc. Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients occasionally Keep the treatment ops/rooms clean following each patient, & well-stocked with supplies Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures as directed Skills Proven experience as dental assistant preferred Knowledge of dental instruments and best sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform non-surgical skills including coronal polishing ZOOM!, and Itero experience preferred Dentrix experience preferred and basic computer skills required Excellent communication and interpersonal people skills Attention to detail and able to support exceeding monthly production goals Well-organized and reliable Competent and efficient in taking digital imaging Certified in Coronal Polish High school diploma Honest, professional and joyful attitude required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
