Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history review, and evaluating oral health status. Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging and radiography equipment to capture diagnostic images while adhering to infection control protocols. Document clinical findings accurately Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards throughout all procedures. Collaborate with dentists during chairside assisting, providing support for various dental procedures including general dentistry and pediatrics. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Stay current with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental terminology to ensure precise communication within the team. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures. Experience working with patients of all ages Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
