Utilize advanced dental technology such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Execute oral surgery procedures like dental extractions and root canal therapy while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Provide pediatric dentistry services tailored to young patientsâ needs, ensuring a comfortable experience. Collaborate with the dental team on complex cases involving prosthodontics or endodontics to deliver comprehensive care. Maintain detailed medical records and ensure all documentation aligns with legal standards and best practices in medical terminology. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness. Adhere to all infection control protocols, including proper sterilization of dental instruments and use of medical imaging techniques for diagnosis. Stay current with industry developments in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and related fields to continually enhance your skills. Experience Proven experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic or office environment with a focus on general dentistry procedures. Hands-on experience with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontic treatments. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance standards. Prior experience providing pediatric dentistry services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly. Familiarity with medical documentation procedures and medical imaging techniques used in dental practice.
