Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients, creating a warm and professional first impression Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout their visit Assist the dentist in many aspects of general dentistry, including crowns, bridges, oral surgery, and root canals Select, set up, and maintain instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures Sterilize instruments and follow all infection control regulations and safety protocols Support the hygienist to ensure efficient and seamless patient care Utilize advanced technology, including scanning patientsâ teeth with the CEREC intraoral scanner Assist in fabricating crowns and bridges using CEREC technology Create models, surgical guides, and nightguards using a 3D printer Provide clear oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care guidance to patients Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked operatory Schedule appointments efficiently to support patient convenience and office productivity Maintain accurate digital patient records and assist with payment processing procedures Our dental assistant position is ideal for someone who values exceptional customer service, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and enjoys working with innovative dental technology to improve patient outcomes and overall office efficiency.
