Overview We are a modern, privately owned dental office that recently celebrated our first year of serving the community. Our practice is growing, and we are excited to welcome a motivated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team 2â3 days per week. Our office is fully equipped with brand-new technology and equipment, creating a comfortable and efficient environment for both our patients and team members. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a positive and supportive atmosphere. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental examinations to inform treatment plans Capture and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to all safety protocols and infection control standards Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health habits Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies Support the dental team with chairside assisting, documentation review, and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed at all times Skills Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Curve Hero Dentrix for documentation and scheduling. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical coding practices Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement, patient assessment, and medical records management Excellent communication skills to educate patients clearly about treatment plans and oral health strategies Familiarity with general dentistry procedures, medical imaging techniques, and pediatric dentistry best practices Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and practicing infection control using aseptic techniques Join us in creating a positive impact on our patientsâ lives through compassionate care, clinical excellence, and teamwork.
