Permanent Dental Assistant Job in La Verne, CA
Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays and CBCT - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix - Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and updating medical history Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - X-ray certification - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 per week Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Paid sick time Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
