Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments using appropriate techniques and tools. Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and identifying any oral health issues. Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures by supporting the dentist during treatments. Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient records management and scheduling. Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Assist with medical imaging procedures as needed, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnostics. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry trends and advancements. Experience Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with a focus on assisting and patient care. Familiarity with medical coding systems is a plus. Proficiency in using dental software applications such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
