Job Summary Our family based private practice is looking for a Dental Hygienist! f you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are clinically driven, and take pride in delivering exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you! Schedule: Part-Time: 2-3 days per week Full-Time: 4 days per week Hours: Monday-Friday. **Applicants that are open to working Fridays are preferred** Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and evaluating oral health status. Assist with chairside procedures such as applying sealants, fluoride treatments, and taking dental radiographs using medical imaging techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations for optimal dental health. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in Dentrix Qualifications Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state licensing requirements. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical terminology relevant to dental care. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with diverse patient populations. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in general dentistry settings while maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique.
