Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced registered dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for patient care, exceptional communication skills, and be committed to providing high-quality oral health care services. As a registered dental hygienist, you will work closely with our dental team to provide preventive and therapeutic services to our patients. Responsibilities: Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments of patient's oral health status Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as prescribed by the dentist Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques, diet, and lifestyle factors that impact oral health Administer local anesthesia, if required, for dental procedures Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to prevent tooth decay Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment notes Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean and sterile dental environment Assist in the management of dental emergencies and provide first aid as required Participate in continuing education to stay updated on new trends and techniques in the field of dental hygiene Qualifications/Experience Requirements: Must be a registered dental hygienist in good standing with the dental board in the state of California Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Proficiency in dental software and technology Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Schedule: Wednesday More days open for discussion Benefits: Supplemental bonus pay (negotioble) Employee discount for dental treatment Sick Pay/ Flexible Schedule Professional training and development assistance offered Job Type: Part-time Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Schedule: 8 hour shift Overtime Weekends as needed Application Question(s): Do you have experience in using Laser?
