Full job description Job Overview We are a privately owned office, with an amazing culture. Our office is centered around doing quality dentistry and treating patients right. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical dental procedures, excellent communication, the ability to work well as a team, and maintain positive relationships with team and patients. Duties Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience. Offer superior chairside assistance in a wide range of dental procedures. You should make sure that all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain infection control protocols in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments while providing excellent customer service as a dental receptionist when required. Taking digital scans and discussing Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant for at least 2 years. Experience with Dentrix software is beneficial with proper PHI and data safeguards/ Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards and practices. Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members. Certification in dental assisting or relevant.
