Join LCMC Health, and you’ll find that our everyday makes it easy to live your extraordinary POSITION SUMMARY: Certified Orthodontic Assistant/EDDA assist dentists in treatment, prepare and schedule patients for examination, X-ray patients’ teeth, maintain patient records, and provide counseling in both the dental clinic and operating room. Dentist offices and dental clinics hire certified dental assistants for full- and part-time positions. Certified dental assistants usually work weekday business hours, rarely working weekends or holidays. Typically, certified dental assistants are not required to travel to complete their normal daily duties. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education- Dental Assistant certification from accredited program License/Certification- BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association., X-Ray certification, graduated from an accredited dental assistant program Experience- 3 year experience in a dental office Skills- Preferred, Bilingual Must obtain EDDA certification within the first 90 days of employment.
