Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated team player Registered Dental Hygienist to join our high-end private Prosthodontist Dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, and support the overall efficiency of our private practice. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient assessment, and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. This role is a full-time contract based position from mid March until end of May with potential part-time work to follow. This role offers competitive pay based on experience. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining proper infection control standards Review and update medical records accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and address any concerns promptly Experience Prior experience minimum of 2 years working as a Dental Hygienist is preferred Proficiency with dental software such as Curve Hero highly desirable Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology is essential Experience with prosthodontist dentistry is a plus Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance, documentation review, and medical coding standards This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional team committed to delivering high-quality patient care while fostering your professional growth in a supportive environment.
