The Dental Assistant will assist with various procedures, maintain medical documentation, and ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic. This position allows for significant future advancement and promotion into the lead assistant role. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support. Prepare and organize treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Maintain aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and infection control. Take and record vital signs as needed for patient assessments. Manage medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry practices. Strong understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques and aseptic protocols. Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond to patient needs effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction. A compassionate approach towards pediatric patients is highly desirable.
