Perform dental examinations, assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs. Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results to inform treatment decisions. Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development. Requirements DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; valid state license to practice dentistry. Proficiency with dental office software including open dental preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards. Perform general dentistry procedures such as examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Ability to perform procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy and other restorative treatments with precision. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation requirements. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and aseptic techniques essential for patient safety. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics.
