Pay to be discussed through interview process, depending on experience level Duties Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained Take dental radiographs (X-rays), including 3D scans when applicable, ensuring accuracy and patient safety Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, ensuring all medical documentation is precise and up-to-date Perform vital signs assessments and medical history updates to support comprehensive patient care Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions in a clear and friendly manner Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and assisting the dental receptionist as needed Skills Proficiency with dental assisting procedures including four-handed dentistry and chairside assistance techniques Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Experience with EMR systems like Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and educate patients effectively Join us if youâre passionate about delivering top-tier dental care while advancing your skills in a vibrant environment that values your energy and dedication!
