Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Assist dentists during procedures by preparing materials, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Handle medical billing and collections efficiently, including insurance verification, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and Medicare claims processing Maintain organized dental and medical records, review documentation for accuracy, and update care plans as needed Operate multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing excellent patient service and appointment scheduling support Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry (including 10-key typing), and managing office supplies to support daily clinic operations Experience Prior experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is highly preferred; clinic experience is a strong plus Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms Knowledge of dental terminology and medical coding including CPT, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for accurate billing and documentation review Strong computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office applications and health information management software Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and manage multiple tasks efficiently Bilingual abilities are desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Previous experience with insurance verification, medical administrative support, and front desk operations will be advantageous Join us to make a difference in patientsâ lives while advancing your career in a supportive and energetic environment.
