Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Katy, TX
Overview We are looking for a friendly and motivated Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team! In this role, you will assist the dentists during procedures, help maintain efficient clinic flow, and create a positive, comfortable experience for young patients and their families. This is a position in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities Assist chairside during pediatric dental procedures Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms following infection control protocols Take dental X-rays and assist with digital imaging/3D scanning Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems (Open Dental) Support scheduling, insurance verification, and patient flow Maintain HIPAA compliance and a clean clinical environment Qualifications Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience required Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and chairside assisting Open Dental experience preferred Pediatric dentistry experience is a plus Strong communication skills and positive attitude Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Continuing education credits Health insurance License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Work Location: In person
