MUST BE GOOD AND CONFIDENT WITH SELLING. dAYS ARE MON, TUES, THURSDAYS 8-5 Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments with precision and care. Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and document findings accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive strategies to maintain optimal dental health. Assist dentists during examinations and procedures such as restorations, extractions, or other treatments. Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and coordinating follow-up care. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment. Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as radiography when necessary to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Skills Proficiency with EHR systems and medical imaging tools for accurate documentation and diagnostics. Strong knowledge of dental procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and suturing techniques. Experience with patient service excellence, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills. Familiarity with infection control standards, HIPAA regulations, and aseptic techniques to ensure safety. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in radiography or specialized dental procedures are preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to dental hygiene practice.
