We are a friendly, patient-centered dental practice looking for a Temporary Front Office Manager to help keep our front desk running smoothly while a valued team member is on maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative team for approximately 3 months.
Job description
Temporary Front Office Manager (General Dental Office)
Duration: 3 months (Maternity Leave Coverage); Starting May 2026 - August 2026
Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday–Thursday and one Saturday per month.
Compensation: $25-35/hour negotiable, based on experience.

- Have previous dental office experience
- Experience with using Eaglesoft (strongly encouraged, but not required)
- Are organized, dependable, punctual and comfortable multitasking
- Enjoy working with people and creating a positive patient experience
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and team members
We're seeking a highly motivated Dental Receptionist / Front Desk who shares our commitment to excellence in patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with Eaglesoft is strongly preferred, though we welcome the opportunity for training with the program for fast learners.
Responsibilities
- Handle billing and collections with patients and insurance companies
- Pre-authorize dental treatment with various dental insurance companies
- Confirm and schedule patient appointments
- Welcome and assist patients with a warm, professional approach
- Review treatment plans and discuss billing options with patients
- Coordinate clinician schedules and support daily office workflow
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and team members
