Dental Assistant – Rise & Shine Dental Group

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and support our commitment to high-quality, comfortable patient care. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on clinical work, thrives in a supportive environment, and wants to grow with a new, technology-driven office.

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Compensation: $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications (with potential for increases as the practice continues to grow)

Start Date: February 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean, safe environment 

• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort 

• Take and process digital dental X-rays 

• Perform infection control procedures and maintain strict sterilization protocols 

• Provide patient education on postoperative care and oral hygiene 

• Take impressions, pour models, and perform basic lab tasks as needed 

• Manage inventory of supplies and maintain equipment 

• Support smooth patient flow by preparing charts and updating records in Open Dental

Required Qualifications:

• Current California X-ray (Radiation Safety) certification 

• At least 2 years of dental assisting experience OR completion of a dental assisting program 

• Familiarity with Open Dental software (preferred) 

• Current CPR/BLS certification 

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
