Job Overview Michael S. Leonard D.D.S. and Jeremy Zaluski D.D.S. are seeking an experienced dental assistant with an outgoing personality and positive attitude to join our modern practice. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, efficient at multitasking, detail-oriented, and a team player. Dental assisting experience is required, including proficiency in four-handed dentistry and x-ray certification. Experience with Dentrix software and digital dental imaging workflows is strongly preferred. This Monday-Thursday full time position offers a three-day weekend, one-hour lunch, competitive compensation (based on experience), 401K, paid time off, and paid CE. Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures including chairside assisting, dental imaging, and vital signs collection Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, maintaining aseptic technique and infection control standards Operate dental equipment such as digital X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and digital imaging systems Manage patient records using Dentrix practice management software ensuring accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance Educate patients on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist when needed Maintain inventory of dental supplies and sterilize instruments following infection control guidelines Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Continuing education credits Paid sick time Paid time off Safety equipment provided Work Location: In person
