It's time for us to add one more family member to our bunch and we're hoping it's YOU! Job Summary We are seeking an energetic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic practice! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment using aseptic techniques. Sterilization and some assisted hygiene necessary. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment and room. Perform digital x-ray imaging. Complete patient clinical notes. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care to patients. Handle administrative tasks as needed, including answering calls in support of front desk as well as scheduling patients. Proficiency in digital scanning, as well as traditional impressions is a must. Pour and trim models, fabricate retainers and whitening trays. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant for at least one year is preferred, and state certification is required. Familiarity with dental terminology and imaging techniques is essential. Proficiency in using Dentrix is a plus. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and education. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Certification in CPR/AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens is required.
