Duties Assist dentists during pediatric and orthodontic procedures, including exams, cleanings, X-rays, and dental treatments Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic techniques are followed Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including 3D scans when applicable, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices tailored for children and adolescents Support infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment in accordance with OSHA standards Requirements Proven experience as a dental assistant in pediatric dentistry or with orthodontic exposure preferred Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques Skilled in taking X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scanning technologies Familiarity with infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members including dental receptionists and specialists Join us in making a difference by helping children achieve healthier smiles!
