Position for maternity leave coverage that could last anywhere between 10-32 weeks. Compensation: Starting out $35 to $40 per hour based on prior work experience. We are looking to hire a licensed dental assistant who could cover maternity leave starting start now going through October 2026 . Our goal is to hire the right candidate who will be a great addition to our small team. Expected clinic days of coverage would be Monday through Wednesday 7:30 AM to 4 PM. Qualifications: Licensed Dental Assistant in the State of Minnesota Able to use dental software programs, in particular Open Dental, to accurately update patient history and progress notes. Able to accurately input services completed that visit and schedule recall cleanings chairside. Job Description: Prepares patient, sterilizes or disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures and emergencies Take and record treatment information in patient records Can take diagnostic dental x-rays Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist Be able to manage dental supply orders and monitor inventory Use dental instruments to check and clean teeth Perform expanded functions as directed and required for patient care Able to manage and provide age appropriate care and emotional support to children served at this clinic Job Types: Temporary, PRN Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Work Location: In person
