Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist with dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort Take and interpret imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records Follow infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques, sterilization procedures, and adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient information Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental clinic or office setting Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and terminology relevant to dentistry and pediatrics Experience with pediatric and orthodontic dentistry is preferred to effectively serve young patients with specialized needs Strong understanding of infection control practices, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques in a clinical environment Ability to perform chairside assisting tasks seamlessly during dental procedures using proper dental assisting techniques Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations Join us in making a differenceâempowering patients with healthier smiles while advancing your career in a vibrant, supportive environment!
