Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations, medical history reviews, and dental imaging to diagnose dental conditions accurately. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and extractions. Conduct oral surgery procedures with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment plans clearly to patients and team members. Manage medical documentation and maintain accurate dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, including pediatric dentistry practices and endodontics techniques. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office setting is required. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging, anatomy, infection control procedures, and dental fabrication processes. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical records management is essential. Prior experience in dental office operations, including patient care coordination and medical documentation management, is highly valued.
