Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties (Dental Assistant) Ability to perform chairside assisting to the dentists with proficiency during a variety of procedures (restorative, cosmetic, surgical, Invisalign). Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Take and process X-rays (must be certified). Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance. Administrative Duties (Front Office) New Patient Coordination: Manage the new patient process from initial call to first appointment, including gathering information, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth transition into the practice. Treatment Planning: Present and clearly explain treatment plans to patients, discuss financial estimates, and secure patient acceptance. Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently. Verify insurance benefits and process claims. Calculate and collect deductibles and copayments Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Proven experience or strong aptitude for front office responsibilities Organizational abilities to manage multiple administrative tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix preferred). A positive, professional, and reliable demeanor.
