Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic technique standards Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging and 3D scans, adhering to all safety protocols and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Open Dental, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and medical coding Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort levels before procedures to ensure safety and well-being Support administrative tasks such as greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical documentation Bilingual Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately assist with various treatments Experience with EMR systems like Open dental or similar platforms for managing medical records and documentation Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools safely and effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times Skilled in chairside assisting with general dentistry procedures as well as specialized fields such as prosthodontics and endodontics Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices to comfortably assist young patients during treatments Excellent communication skills for collaborating with the dental team and providing clear instructions to patients Ability to perform vital signs assessment accurately and support pediatric dentistry needs when required Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on infection control standards Join us in delivering outstanding dental care!
