Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable environment. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Review and maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the documentation review process to ensure all patient information is up-to-date. Utilize Eaglesoft or similar systems for patient management and record keeping. Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals in providing comprehensive patient care. Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role is preferred but not necessary for entry-level candidates willing to learn. Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is essential. Familiarity with dental assisting practices is a plus, including DENTRIX Experience with medical records management and documentation review is beneficial.
