Dental Assistant (Opportunity for Front Office Cross-Training) BLVD Dental Aesthetics – Los Angeles, CA BLVD Dental Aesthetics is a modern, high-end general and cosmetic dental practice in Los Angeles seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. This position is primarily focused on clinical assisting, with the opportunity to be cross-trained in front office responsibilities for professional growth and versatility. Primary Responsibilities (Dental Assistant – Back Office) Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and emergency treatment Take high-quality digital X-rays (FMX, BW, PA, pano) Prepare and break down operatories according to OSHA and infection control standards Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization protocols Assist with impressions, temporaries, scanning, and clinical photography Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked Maintain efficient clinical flow and support the doctor during procedures Provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable Cross-Training Opportunity (Front Office – Secondary Role) Learn patient scheduling and appointment coordination Assist with patient check-in and check-out Help verify insurance and enter patient information Support front office team as needed (This cross-training is intended to help you grow professionally and become a well-rounded team member.)
