Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team at two locations, in Loveland and Fort Collins. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric dentistry and dental assisting, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our dentists in providing high-quality dental services tailored to pediatric patients. Duties Assist dentists during various pediatric dental procedures, including chairside assisting and imaging. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-rays, ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate young patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Requirements Proven experience as a dental assistant in a pediatric or general dentistry setting. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards within dental clinics. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to pediatric dentistry. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
