Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) - Richard Wheatfill DDS - Aliso Viejo, CA

We are a private dental office located in Aliso Viejo. We are looking for a Part-Time Hygienist for Fridays only, from 7:45-4PM lunch from 1-2pm. Hours can be arranged! You'll see a total of 7 patients, an hour each. We have been in this building for over 10 years. We are very excited to welcome someone new to our team! Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (we use Softdent/ Carestream) - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment Requirements: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Proficiency in using dental software systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records - Ability to work well in a team environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
