Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with both patients and the dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, with focus on adults. Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans. Perform vital signs checks and medical imaging as required. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and general dentistry practices. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A valid dental hygienist license is required; additional certifications in infection control or related areas are a plus.
